With 52C, you can easily collect data of various categories. At first glance, the tool for entering data may look very simplistic. In fact, however, it creates numerous opportunities for professional fitness progress tracking. The key is to know how to use the tool, so that it fits your individual needs as a personal trainer. Here’s some more about how you can best use 52C to more effectively track progress of your clients. Save time tracking your clients’ progress and analyzing their stats!
What kind of data can I track with 52C?
The answer is: you can basically track whatever you want: measurements, test results, exercises, and more.
The essential rule is that there are no limits on adding your own categories of tracked data. We did predefine a basic set of categories, but every personal trainer using 52C can freely extend the set for their own needs. Keep reading to learn how.
Another thing to know is that the default hints appearing under the category input are NOT all the categories available:
What are the categories predefined in the system?
Besides those appearing as default hints, there are tens of additional categories already predefined in the system. You can see them listed below.
- Bone mass
- Bone density
- Body water
- Visceral fat
- Biceps – left
- Biceps – right
- Chest – circumference

When you start typing the name of category, it will appear in the hints:
When you type the full name, or just click in one of the hints, you can put in the value of the measurement to the next input, for instance 15 in (if you’ve let’s say just measured the left biceps) and click ADD.
How to add my own category to track?
Adding a new category is fabulously simple. You just:
1) Type the client’s name.
2) Type the full name of the category to be created, e.g.: “Agility test time”:
3) Enter a value, e.g. “57 sec” and click ADD.
The newly created category will be immediately added to your set of categories, and the value you entered will be added to the client’s profile. All at once!
So the next time when you start typing, for instance, “Agility test time”, it will appear in the hints.
What units of measurement can I use in 52C?
In the settings, you can choose the system of units you are using when recording your clients’ measurements: imperial or metric.
